What is a Sprayed Polyurethane Foam Roof System?

Sprayed Polyurethane Foam Roof System is a closed cell roofing material formed by the combination of two liquid components. When the two materials meet in the mixing gun, they expand 20-30 times their volume in a matter of seconds. Sprayed Polyurethane Foam Roof System is sprayed over the entire roof including flashing, penetrations and parapet walls to the desired thickness, usually 1-2 inches. Various thicknesses are applied in areas to create a positive drainage and eliminate ponding of water.

What is Elastomeric Coating?

Elastomeric coating is a water-resistant coating which is designed to with stand water, ultraviolet radiation, and normal wear for years. Although other colors are available, white topcoat further reduces the heat loads and thermal stresses in the structure.

Process for Sprayed Polyurethane Foam Roof System

Surface Preparation

First, all loose gravel and dirt are removed. If necessary, blisters in the existing roof are Insert picture removed. Then, all metal or wood surfaces are inspected and replaced as needed.

Applying Foam Insulation
